Samsung GX20
I bought the GX10 and loved it. I liked Samsung's controls design a little better than the Pentax version of this camera. Plus I never saw the point of yet another proprietary RAW format. Samsung's use of the Adobe RAW format just meant one less step. When the GX20 came out, I responded to the lure of the new CMOS sensor and half again more image size with the GX20, The potential flexibility of having an Xsync connection that might allow me to experiment with and maybe give a new lease on life to a bunch of older lighting equipment also had appeal.
I was not disappointed. Same great camera just better.
The Kit lens however is much better. I tried it and left it in the box when I bought the GX10, but the lens that came with the GX10 is improved, I'm using it this time. It has saved me from always using the much heavier 18-250 zoom, and maybe even from buying two very expensive 21mm and 31mm primes. The Kit lens is not their peer in image quality, but it is smaller lighter and enough better to make me think twice before parting with all that money for the now smaller increment in image quality.

I had wanted a music player for a long time and held off until I saw the 2nd generation iPod Touch. This is essentially an iPhone without the phone. WOW! Let me say that again, WOW. There are other versions of the iPod, but for those who have larger hands or don't want something too small and slim, this is perfect. It is not too large, but comfortable to hold and flat out fun to use. The color screen is beautiful and video is simply amazing to watch on the Touch. While the Touch is designed to be easy to use and mostly it is, it is not intuitive if you are not familiar with the design and how it is supposed to work. Being a geek, I purchased several books to learn about the Touch before hand, so I was ready to go when I received it. Syncing via iTunes is very easy and it is wonderful to have music, video (TV Shows, movies, movie trailers and You Tube to name a few), Internet, GPS and helpful apps make this a must have device. The Touch has Wi-Fi, so you can browse the Internet, check your mail, browse the iTunes Wi-Fi and App stores, get GPS info, check weather or stocks only on a Wi-Fi connection. If you are not near a Wi-Fi signal the Internet connection features and apps will not work. It should also be noted that only the music and App store sections of iTunes work on the Wi-Fi connection, all others are available only on your computer. The Touch also has some handy PIM widgets for a Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Clock and a Calculator. You can also view photos in vivid color. Your music library can be sorted by artist, song title, album (check out the cool cover flow feature by flicking your finger across the screen) and you can search for any of the above. The new Genius feature is also included in the 2nd generation version, suggesting music you may have forgotten you have. I don't use the Genius feature that much because the artist category feature is my favorite to find music. There are a number of paid and free aps available for the Touch and the iPhone since they are similar. Many do not need an Internet connection to work.
It is fantastic to be able to listen to your music library nearly anytime and anywhere you like. The Touch has full stereo sound and is espcecially good with headphones. The ear buds that come with it are okay, but I prefer over the ear headsets for full, rich sound. I never would have thought I would have enjoyed watching TV Shows or video on the go, but I love watching my favorite shows on the Touch. iTunes has nearly every cable channel show you can think of and it is a cost effective way to view a single episode to see if you like a show you have not seen before. One thing I am not wild about is touch typing. Contrary to popular opinion, there are stylus' made that will work with the touch. I purchsed a wonderful one from Hand Held Items that makes it much easier to type. The Touch syncs fairly quickly. Video will run the battery down faster than music will, but it charges very fast. I bought a 32 GB so that I would have plenty of room for music and video. I would like to mention an important point, once you have filled your iPod with your favorite entertainment, make sure you back up your iTunes libarary. iTunes will back up your iPod, but many people forget to back up their computers. If you lose it, it is gone and you will have to re-purchase anything you have lost. I backup all items purchased on my computer using both a backup drive and Arconis True Image software and an online storage site, Flipdrive. You can get 20GB of storage for $5.00 a month and unlimited photos backed up. If it is on your iPod and important to you, take the time to back it up. The iPod Touch is a must for powerful packed and mostly easy to use features. It really is a fun and useful player to have.
Even my 19 month old brother can use this
I got this ipod after the black friday sale and got it saturday morning! :) I couldn't go to sleep because i was anticipating it so much. I got it and started using it everything was good but then a couple days later as soon as I took it off of the charger the battery life went dead in about 3hrs. I had a previous ipod that I wanted replace because of the battery life and this doesnt make it any better. I wish I could return it! But other than the battery life this is a great ipod. Even my little brother LOVES IT and shakes his little booty to it all the time.
Better than ever
This ipod is awesome, it can do many things and the apps you download are cool. I have my ipod for some days and 'till now its working great with all its features, i love it!!
I heard some reviews about their ipods getting damaged and that their screen doesnt react to touch, well i think thats bad from apple to give defective ipods to some people, but really to give your ipod a long life you must take care of it and dont move from a climate to a diferent climate, because moister kills the ipod, so buy a protective case and screen. For me my advice to those who want to buy it, buy it!

BuZZ from Customer Shopping
I'm amazed that anyone would call this camera an entry level SLR
Yes...professional level SLR's have specific criteria to adhere to, but none of the criteria has to do with image quality...Image quality from the XSI is second to none, even the outrageously priced full sensor Canon's and others...Scan the internet and you will find plenty to back this up...Many pros are changing over to the XSI because of handling ease and comparable image quality...Then why would anyone pay thousands more for other cameras...Beats me, unless many think that having a heavy, more expensive camera with more dials and controls makes it a pro camera...I am a pro-photographer and I can tell you first hand that the only aspect of photography that counts when making a living is image quality...but, don't ask the other pros...they may still contend that the XSI is still entry level...and that my friends IS..."BULL."
Returned it for the Olympus E-520
Bought the XSI from Amazon, with great expectations. Glowing
Reviews. The Camera feels cheap. Very loud shutter operation.
Awkward hand position. Live View is a Joke. If you have a
significant other that will want to use it like a point and shoot
through the LCD. Good Luck. NO AUTO FOCUS using shutter.
4 step process to take a picture. Camera just didn't
"Feel Right". Olympus on the other hand feels stout, your hand
and fingers naturally fall where they should. Live View works
just like it should, albeit a little slow. All this for almost
$150.00 cheaper.

Nikon D90 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S VR DX Nikkor Zoom Lens

Now I find Nikon D90 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S VR DX Nikkor Zoom Lens Yes, I think that interesting .
BuZZ from Customer Shopping
Awesome camera for the price!
I have been using this camera for about 3 months and this camera is just awesome. It takes awesome pictures straight out of the box with the 18-105mm kit lens. This lens is new from Nikon and it's quiet good actually. I especially enjoyed the wide angle that it provides even though this camera is only 1.6x!
I have added a sb-400 to this camera and my flash photos are much nicer than the built-in flash but i'm not saying that the built-in flash is bad at all. Actually, the built-in flash will probably work for most of photo enthusiasts as it creates respectable flash photos in it's own right.
The coloring of the photos look much true to life than the Canon 40D i have. i have compared the same photos with the same exposure and to me and my wife the photos from the D90 just looked so much natural. I guess this is due to the 12.3mp sensor that it borrowed from the awesome D300.
HD videos are in good quality. I have shown them on my Samsung 1080P TV and they looked very nice except that they are in Mono sound, this is the only downside of this feature, but hey this is the world's first DSLR that can shoot HD and i know that we can make pretty creative videos using other Nikkor lens but at this time i just don't have the funds to do so!
In conclusion, this is a very reasonably price machine and it's quiet affordable for the everyday photo armatures and enthusiasts.
LET ME TELL YOU THIS!!!!
Nikon has really found the perfect camera for beginner's and advanced shooter's alike, and it's call the D90. I am not a beginner, but let me tell you if I was, this is the camera to get. It has a lot of buttons but that is no problem, if you don't know what something is in the menu's just hit the question mark button and a descriptive explanation lights up the D90's beautiful improved high res screen. The screen is why I bought the D90 instead of the D40 or D60, it lets me eyeball my exposure accuratley that way I can make the necessary adjustments to my EX comp, WB, and ISO. This camera is often compared to the D300, I can tell you this, if you are thinking of buying one or the other, there are only 3 differences between these 2 camera's. 1. If you are a casual shooter who does not need 1/8000 shutter speed then get the D90 with its 1/4000 SS, this is more than adequate for most sports and action shooting. The D300 excels when it comes to faster moving objects, like racecars. 2. The D300 has 51 Autofocus points while the D90 has 11. You will only need the extra AF points if you are doing really high speed Action, although the AF on the D300 is really sweet, it has lighting speed AF, but like most things in life, people will pay for this feature and never use it, thats where you will save you hard earned cash buying the D90. 3. SIZE, the D90 is a lot smaller and weighs less, due to the fact that the D300 has and Aluminum frame, and better weather sealing, I will say that the D90 is no slouch in the construction department though it feels very well built. So if you are really pondering which one to get, I say for most purposes the D90 is a year newer, has video, the same picture quality and low light capability (except for the AF of the D300, which focuses a bit faster in lowlight) You can save 500 bucks, and get better Lenses, I shoot Nikons pro glass with my D90 and love it, I have the 70-200 VR 2.8, and the 24-70 2.8 and let me tell you there is no comparison. Those lenses are tack sharp with this camera. Or if you cannot afford those lenses, then get the D90 body and the 16-85 VR Nikon lens, you won't be disappointed.
Which camera do I choose????
I've been using a point and shoot camera for about 5 years now - I'm by no means a photographer, just an average dad trying to take some pictures. My son recently turned one and I've been finding it more and more difficult to capture those precious moments. I press the button on my point and shoot....delay...missed the shot. Also whenever I take photos indoor I've found they are always blurry or noisy, just not very good. So I elected to get a Digital SLR camera - wow they are expensive! I did very extensive research before making the most important decision. Which one do I get??? I decided to narrow my search to Canon and Nikon, the two top brands. I was considering the Canon Xsi, Canon 40D, and Nikon D90.
I quickly decided the Xsi was not for me. On paper it looks great. It has a ton of great reviews and I'm sure it takes amazing pictures. The price was the cheapest of all the cameras I was considering. After visiting Best Buy and actually trying the cameras out the xsi felt like a toy compared to its big brother the 40D. Also the kit lens was very disappointing as far as zoom capabilities.
I did like the 40D a lot. The body seems really solid and well build (even more so than the D90). I loved the 6fps rapid shooting (although I can't imagine I would every really need to shot quite that fast). The kit lens seems like a huge improvement over the wimpy one on the xsi. The camera seemed good to me but after picturing my wife using it, it seemed just a tad to "big and heavy". Some people might disagree.
The D90 had a few features that really appealed to me. One of the main things I really liked about the D90 was the beautiful 3" VGA screen for reviewing. This screen was a big reason why I went with this camera over the Canon models. It's the same size but has 4 times the resolution. Why would you care about this? It's just really nice when you take a shoot you can immediately tell if you got it or not. With the canons I found you had to either zoom in or download to the computer before you could really tell if the photo came out well. The D90 also just had a lot of other tricks up its sleeve that I thought were nice. There is a HDMI output to hook this baby up to your fancy HDTV. The camera also has built in software that creates an animated slideshow of your pictures for viewing on the TV. Again, doesn't really effect image quality but it's a cool feature. There's also some neat post processing you can do right on the camera including red eye removal, black and white filter, or tilt the picture if you accidentally took it at a slight angle. Of course there is the movie mode also (lack of auto focus makes this feature a little disappointing actually). One final selling point for the D90 over the 40D was the kit lens. For me the kit lens is very important because I don't really plan on purchasing a bunch of different lenses and swapping them out all the time. I just want a decent "all purpose" lens. The 40D's 28-135mm kit lens just felt a little to "zoomed-in" for me. After playing with it I wanted to be able to zoom out more but was unable to. The D90's 18-105 feels like a pretty good range for me (keep in mind that these cameras have a 1.5 multiplier built in).
The best advice I can give is to go try the cameras out before you order one. Just go with the one you feel most comfortable with, trust your gut. I've been very happy with my D90 but I'm sure all of the cameras I was considering would have been a huge step up from a point and shot.

specialized lens
I bought the 70-300 to extend the telephoto range of my D80's 18-135 kit lens. Quality of photos from both lenses are very good. The VR works well even at extreme (300 mm) hand-held use. I've had no autofocus problems. Depth of field limitations require one to pay attention to framing and focus. This is a notably slower lens than my Nicor 18-135 which I've grown comfortable with for 90% of my shooting situations. I use an SB600 flash regularly for fill. On sale it's worth it if you have the money.
Nikon 70-300 mm zoom lens
My husband is very pleased with the lens I bought for him, and gets much use taking photos of the wildlife . He also took some fabulous px. of the animals in Yellowstone.
It arrived promptly and was in perfect condition.
A great choice for amateurs
I picked this lens up used, in like-new condition, at a local camera store for $375. It's a very good complement to the 18-105mm VR zoom I have. While not as handy a combination as the 18-200mm lens, I picked up both of these for around the same priceas the 18-200, and in return got even more reach, better image quality across both zoom ranges, and a lighter lens for normal use.
The build quality is good for the price range. It's got a bit of plasticky feel to the zoom action, but not bad. While it is a hefty lens, so are most other tele-zooms. If weight is that big a deal, the 18-55 VR/55-200VR combo would be a better choice. I didn't like the feel of the 18-55 VR I had, and the 55-200 is built about the same.
Image quality as far as I can see is very good for what it is. It's not the sharpest, it's not the fastest aperture, and it does autofocus somewhat slowly, but it also doesn't cost $1000+. This is a mid-range tele zoom, and I didn't expect it to perform like an f2.8 lens that weighs 4 pounds and costs what I make in a month. The VR works very well, although it is somewhat loud. I can take handheld shots, even out to 300mm, in good light, and it helps a good bit with longer releases in lower light. This helps it perform like a faster lens in poor light, though it of course will not help with moving subjects such as sports photography.
This is a great choice if you can find it a bit cheaper than the $450 it sells for currently, and still not bad at that price. For me, it offers 90% of the functionality of something like the 70-200mm VR, at around 30% of the cost. The fact that it is still small & light enough to carry around (it stays in my camera bag, and with this lens attached the camera is still light enough to wear) is a big plus, since you can't use the lens that you left at home to save weight.

It's not metal!
So I bought this thinking it was metal, because that's what it looked like in the pictures. It is not metal. And OMG is it comfortable. You can adjust it to be higher or lower on the back of your chair depending on where your pain is. I didn't want to get up after using this. My mom also enjoys using it - pain free sitting!
Posture Pro Lumbar Support
Preforms as hoped. Provides good lower back support when spending long hours at the computer or driving. Works well in the car on long drives.
Helps relieve the discomfort of cronic back pain when sitting
Recommend to anyone who has to sit for any long period of time.
surprisingly effective for a vehicle
I have this strapped into a Matrix and it provides the support and breathability I needed. As we all economize, it can be hard to find vehicles that fit both our desire for good finances and MPG but also provide comfort for a middle aged body. this back support took the Matrix from "good ride MPG but sore back" to "pretty comfortable too." if you're facing a sitting challenge in your lower back, this can be an excellent solution.
